In need of some ideas to help with a horse that is low in neck and head carriage and works on the forehand. Have managed to start getting her to stretch but need to get her lighter in the hand and more uphill. I've been doing transitions and changes within pace, circles and a bit of leg yield. Also doing square turns (mostly in walk at the moment) and some serpentines. Is there anything else you would recommend to help get a horse more uphill?

My 5yo can tend to go very on the forehand at times, I find popping a couple of fences mid session helps...

Doing some work in shoulder fore ( slight shoulder in) gets them to step under with the inside hind. Keep the angle very slight so that you don't lose impulsion and if necessary alternate it with some medium trot to keep it moving.
