I took my mare to her first show in a horsebox yesterday. All in all it was a good day. Travelled well and wasn't silly at the show. Problem is, when I school at home she generally works well. We are getting there with a nice outline working from behind. At the show she went like a giraffe! What schooling exercise could I do to have her listening more and stop evading the bit? Teeth, back etc all ok as she works nicely when she wants to.

Just get her out and about as much as you can, as if you say she's works fine at home and is a bit giraffe like out, she's prob just not used to lots of things going on around her.
My horse takes a while to settle at comps and when I'm warming up I tend to put her more or less straight into trot and do lots of changes of rein circles, half halts etc... hope this helps :)
