We have been concerntrating on her flatwork for about 3 months now. Its going well in that her transitions between halt/walk and trot are now good and leg yeilding is coming on. She is very responsive, light and in front of the leg. Changed from sluggish cob to racehorse lol.
However when changing from trot to walk or trot to halt she always tosses her head after shes completed the transition.
She is a head shaker and wears a nose net at this time of year anyway, but this is different it really does seem to be evasion or annoyance. Shes due her teeth checked next month, and her back is fine. Does anyone have any schooling tips as to how to stop her doing this - its really irritating.
Lessons are not an option for a while due to facilities and transport so any advice gratefully received we don't have a school so all work is done on the roads.
Thanks
