So this thread is me asking for any ideas, opinions ect that will help with my girls schooling.

The pictures below show before pictures and pictures of her now, and before people pick out the imperfections I am already aware of them but I’m proud of how far she has come in such a short space of time, we used to spend the whole lesson with her head in the air and back hollowed with no softening at all whatsoever. Lateral work used to be a nightmare resulting in her threatening to rear all the time.

I understand she’s not perfect, but I’d love some tips and ideas to help improve her overall schooling and way of going from here upwards!

Well done on the improvement there!

It really depends what works for your horse, mine gets bored easily with schooling so we make our sessions short but full of questions. Lateral, circles, spirals, transitions up and down, stretches etc

Considering shes gone from that to that, id say whatever you are doing yourself is working! Id probably want to try and get a little more power from the back, so lots of transistions (9 steps walk, 9 steps trot, 8 steps walk, 8 steps trot etc etc, then same in canter to trot, then canter to walk) and lots of raised pole work.
