Georges Dewez at Carreg Dressage. AMAZING
really turned shadow into a gem. He is ia mid Wales (near Mach)
Charges £180 a week though! but you get a lesson a week included in that and can visit as much as you like. The care is second to none- I wholeheartedly reccomend him.

If you are looking for a SJ yard I know of one near cardigan that taught shadow his tricks very well. They charge £100 per week and are very small only take clients in as word of mouth.

I have to say I agree ... but then I know that Ali charges alot more ! So dependent on your budget I'd speak to them both ....

[/ QUOTE ] she is brilliant but my problem is a lack of good facilities- i wanted to ideally send him to someone for a few weeks without my interference just to get some nice foundations then continue with the same person but with me riding. Does ann have her own yard?

Helen Jones who trades as JETS is in Ammanford and she backed Angel, my rescued mare for me, and believe me, she wasn't the easiest! She is just a 1-person operation but she is excellent. You can spot the horses she has backed all around Wales because they ALL go in a natural outline! She also taught Angel about clipping, having her beard clipped off and being sensible with the vet and I know that she gave Helen a few grey hairs lol. I'd recommend her to anyone but not sure if she's too far away? Her tel no is 07917 825324 x

Mel & Mark Wilder near Llandovery. Eventers who break & produce very nice horses. Mel did diary for Welsh Rider last year.
They have helped us enormously with ours.
About £120/wk I think - may be a bit more now
