Hi All
can any one recommend a really good/sympathetic trainer that offers schooling livery in the Midlands /Gloucestershire ?
It would be for a short term boost of about 3/4 weeks. Ideas on cost would be great too.
Many thanks !:)

Maria Griffin. Shes in Gloucester. Can probably give you an idea of who to avoid as well. :D
What are you looking for?
Thanks for that - does she have a website do you know ? Am basically after a few weeks intensive training on full livery for a young warmblood .

Any other ideas gratefully received too !

If you could PM it that would be great - also who else to avoid !!

Thanks H & H ers - input very much appreciated ! Any more out there ? :]

Matt Jenkins specialises in dressage (trained with Dan Greenwood I believe) but I think is also a fairly handy all-rounder too. Don't know him personally but have heard good things and would sell my soul to livery at Lyneham if it was just a bit closer to me. We go there to XC school quite a lot and the facilities are amazing.

I really like Martin Schleicher who is over near Birdwood and also Nick Lawson, although not sure where Nick is currently - possibly near Tewkesbury? Both really good, sympathetic riders who also teach very well.

Lotte Seal at Naunton (Glos). She represented Denmark as a young rider and has produced her own horses to Grand Prix. She's brilliant with young horses, patient but firm. She doesn't have a website but look up Brockhill Farm Equestrian on Facebook. It's a mixed yard, her husband has hunters. She's also very reasonable.

Yes Matt trained with Dan, and before that Alice Peternell (nee Wilson). I train with him and he has had both of mine for schooling and also backed my youngster (who has since sold). Lyneham is absolutely AMAZING and I do wish I lived closer as I would be moving mine in, which is saying something as I love my little private yard!

Another vote for Lottie Seal. Also Cath Creamer is a beautiful rider and is near cheltenham. She has done young horses for Carl, Eilbergs, Peter Storr etc. she has a website.
