Well, this afternoon i decided to ignore the fact i'm 28 years old and have a play! I brought the pipe cleaners home from work and have thoroughly enjoyed myself.

I made a silver dapple then amused myself putting it through it's paces.

Was still in bed when i got to the yard

Into the arena for some lunge work, first 5 minutes are always tricky

Once he's settled we did some schooling over jumps, showing excellent scope

Canter work is improving, picking up the correct lead most times

Extended trot is coming on nicely too

The beginnings of a piaffe, still got to work on this

Work finished then out into the field, why do they always roll in the muddiest bit?!

Hope you enjoyed this little bit of fun on a grey saturday afternoon :D

I am outraged! :mad3:

There is NO grazing in that field, and no bascule over that jump. You'll knacker him entirely if you do all that in one session :mad3: Weedy neck and weak back end too - you'll need a Pessoa on him pretty damn quick :mad3:

He needs feeding turmeric, micronised linseed and at least a MW turn-out. (At least he looks like he's barefoot.) Poor horse :frown3:

Love and vibes,

Outraged and Uphauled of HHO :tongue3:

thanks for the feedback, yes i agree he's lacking in condition at the moment, I bought him off a top dressage producer, he is an advanced medium dressage horse apparently and she said he would be perfect for me as i'm a complete novice. I havent ridden him yet as I'm still learning how to mount on the correct side, but he lunges really well

His posh name is Moorlands Titless, but we call him Phil. I love him so much he's my dream horse.

I forgot to add a photo of his field companion Stewie the shetland. Excuse his clipped head, my friend said she'd seen some photos of them on the internet and they all had their head shaved and it looked cool so we clipped his too, he was a really good boy.
