Hi All

I have just bought my first youngster who is away being broken in at present, when i get her back i obviously want to give her the best possible start.

Im looking to see if there is any sort of timetable/plan which i can work to for schooling etc to help me stay on track and not get stuck doing the same things, im looking for a good variety. Does anyone have any recommendations or ideas on where i might find such a timetable or a really good book which may be useful.

Luckily i have a good size school and great hacking around me and lots of time on my hands.

i would hack, lunge, school and maybe loose jump? im not sure about the loose jumping though. if he/shes being professionally schooled, why dont you ask the prof?

I did loads of hacking (short ones), lunging is good but keep to a minimum - baby joints and it gets them too fit. Schooling good too, but short and sweet. A few local shows - in hand, gets them out and about. I did a bit of loose jumping and incorporated pole work every now and then. He could probably have started jumping sooner than he did - about 41/2 but never mind. Little and often is better than long and not often
