Hi. I am considering sending my horse to a professional to school him for me, predominantly in XC and Dressage as he hasn't done this before. He is 10 years old and his background is mainly SJ however he has picked up some bad habits here too so thought if I could get a professional to sit on him and school him through some of his SJ issues and introduce him to XC/DR, that would help me moving forwards. I have lost a lot of confidence (mainly in the jumping phases) and I don't want to make things any worse. My thoughts would be if someone could do a bit of schooling for me on him and then give me lessons to back up what they have done, that might be a better approach? Has anyone done this before and if so, how did you find it. I am based in Scotland so would be looking ideally for somewhere in the central belt.
thanks
