Can anyone recommend me somewhere to go for dressage schoolmaster lessons in the south? I live near Salisbury and don't mind travelling a bit, I've looked at Talland and Oldencraig and I can't think of any more! Someone said to me that Jennie Loriston-Clarke used to do schoolmaster lessons, but she wasn't sure if she does now...
I'm just after someone to let me sit on a good horse and tell me if I can actually ride or if I'm wasting my time!!

If you can travel as far as Tewkesbury I know someone there who does.

Also Adderro do - MatB will know more I am sure. Do Equisense? Shena whatshername's place at Bruton?

Shena only does lessons on your own horse, and Aderro/ Rhegan is apparently more expensive (well only a few quid) than Pammy or Vicki. Tewkesbury is not that much further than Talland, whish is where I'm leaning towards going...

Do they not? I'm sure it was on here a while ago that I saw some pictures of someone's schoolmaster lesson, they just went "for a play around"? And I know my friend has been to Vicki at Oldencraig, but then she is a very good rider and was on PC teams but never affiliated with her horse - I'm not much below her standard.
It seems silly to me to only offer schoolmaster lessons for those who are already at medium+, if I were that standard I'd have my own horse to take! I'll try calling somewhere to check what standard I have to be, in that case.
