I had thought about putting to be very careful but I didn't want to insult anyone by suggesing they wouldn't take the greatest care.

Yes to longer than wide, I’m using Explora 3s for 140mm long 130mm wide.

But I think you actually meant wider than long?

Given the costs involved I’d rather risk insulting anyone than have them not realise trying on with horse standing on concrete can be enough to mark new boots.
