One of the straps on my Scoots has broken
I have a spare, but can't get the brass thing through the hole.
Any ideas how to fix this please?

warm it in hot water & use a hoof pick tip to stretch it?

They have a different fixing now, supposed to be easier but I am not sure! I replaced some straps recently and used a screw driver to help ease the hole over the brass thing. As above, warming it first might help also.

Thanks all, I'll try putting the screws in the boot first and see if that's easier

Get a man to do it, makes it much easier. It depends how old they are how you tackle it (they modified the design) but the video link above does explain
