SCOPE festival rumour?

The rumor a couple of years ago was that it was going to Bath and West...... I think Scope moving is the SJ version of Pippa Funnell being pregnant. As long as it moves closer to me I don't care

When i was at scope last year quite a few people mentioned that when the contract expires thats it, not sure where it's going tho!
 
I'm almost certain that '07 was scope's last year of its original contact with Staffs County Show Ground, I was told by a reasonable source that there has been a new contact/agreement which will keep the show at stafford for another 4 years. although there was another suggestion that it may move to peterbourgh

I would suggest that there are better venues for such a prestegious (sp?) event, Arena UK, Hand, Stoneleigh, Hartbury, Towerlands etc etc etc.

I live 20 mins from staffs Show ground and it is great to have it so close but, the going outside in a couple of the rings, and the lack of security are major concerns. i personally prefer to jump at Arena UK's Grand prix festival in september, perfect surfaces and no hassle!
 
i agree completely. arena gp festival is a much nicer show. i've only been to scope once and that was last year and only went for 2 days to do hoys qualifiers. guess will dot the same thing this year if i have to go but certainly wont otherwise.
 
Yeah it was suggested that it was moving to peterborough, but i have since heard that it is going to stay at staffs showground for 08 at least
