Well we had a great day yesterday, albeit I was querying a vet mark on one. However, on the whole we could not complain at all. BIG THANKS to all our friends who helped us get horses ready, transported, shown and back home again. Could not have done it without all your help!

MFS Florencia - Dressage (Florencio x De Niro)
Vet Score - 7.75/10 (she is slightly upright in her pasterns due to her still having a lot of foal hoof on).
Conformation - 8.75/10
Walk - 9/10
Trot - 9/10
Athleticisim - 18/20
Type & Temperament - 9/10
Overall - 8.7 - Judge said to me if the vet score had been that wee bit higher that she would have definately made Elite.
1st Premium & Reserve Highest Scoring Dressage Foal

MFS Ella Rosa - Eventing (Hemmingway x Emillion)
Vet Score - 7/10 (Of the whole day I was really disappointed in the vet score. The only remark on the sheet that the vet felt she was slightly imblanced in one of her front feet. I thought losing 3 marks was very harsh for something so minimal, especially when the vet confirmed that it would be fine next time she was trimmed.)
Conformation - 8.75/10
Walk - 7.75/10
Trot - 7.75/10
Athleticisim - 18/20
Type & Temperament - 8.5/10
Overall - 8.2
1st Premium & Highest Scoring Eventing Foal

MFS Ella Rosa - Showjumping
Vet Score - 7/10 (as above)
Conformation - 8.75/10
Walk - 4/5
Trot - 4/5
Athleticisim - 16/20
Type & Temperament - 14/20
Overall - 7.6
2nd Premium & Highest Scoring Showjumping Foal - The judges felt that she did not have enough power from behind in her canter.

Ella was having the strop from hell when we arrived and no matter what we did she was just as high as a kite! Even the vet said "good luck" when I went into the arena as she was being a madam outside!

MFS Dandyman -Showjumping (Marlon x Holland)
Yearling
Owned by Janet & Willie Keith, bred by us
Overall - 9.2
ELITE & Highest Scoring Showjumping Yearling
Currently he is the highest awarded yearling of the series, but we still have three more evaluations to go, so this could easily change.

MFS Caliana - Showjumping (MFS Vision x Jurius)
2 Year Old by MFS Vision
Owned by Angela Geddie, bred by us
Overall - 8.1
1st Premium & Reserve Highest Scoring Showjumping 2 year old

Forevermore Dior - Showjumping (MFS Vision x Jurius)
Yearling by MFS Vision (full sister to Caliana)
Owner/Breeder Angela Geddie
Overall - 7.6
2nd Premium - The judges said the only reason she got a 2nd was because she was way too laid back. She was just such a sweety though.

MFS B'Royal - Showjumping (Royal Geneve x Jurius - half brother to two above)
3 year old colt
Owned by Michelle Davidson, bred by us
Overall - 8.78
1st Premium & Highest Scoring Showjumping 3 year old

MFS B'Royal - Dressage
3 year old colt
Owned by Michelle Davidson, bred by us
Overall - 8.07
1st Premium & Highest Scoring Dressage 3 year old

Craighill Royal Poldark - Eventing (Royal Geneve x TB)
3 year old colt
Owned/Bred by Vicki Westwick
Overall - 8.21
1st Premium & Reserve Highest Scoring Eventing 3 year old

Would like to say that could not fault how the evaluation went, and from what I could gather the overall impression was a good one by entrants. Congrats to Jan and the team.

Glad you had a fantastic day and what super results. I couldn't make it as I couldn't get cover at work.

The yearling I sold earlier in the year got a 1st Premium in the SJ and was reserve high score so was really pleased for her new owner and her breeder.

Well done MFS, we were also at Fountain with our 2 year old filly and it was a very good experience.

Everything ticked along nicely and agree with Anastasia, the day went well.

We got the Reserve Highest Dressage 2 year old and 2 First Premiums - entered in Showjumping as well.

Chuffed!

J
