Anyone know what the story is?

"Due to circumstances beyond the control of the Show Committee, the location of the SHPI has had to be changed to Stanmore Stables, Lanark.

It is with regret that any ponies stabled at Lanark Racecourse will be refused entry to Stanmore Stables.

The Committee apologises for this inconvenience."

Saltire Series Championships at Jumps also got moved to the other side of Lanark at short notice (last Wednesday).

I didn't go to the Champs in the end, so didn't hear anything, but wondering if it's maybe some communicable disease or something nearby...?

Apparently lot of the centres in the area have strangles. there is going to be strict procedures in place for those who go.

I certainly know there's been outbreaks of strangles in the Biggar area. Just hope people are being responsible about things.
