Hello

I live in Scotland (Edinburgh area to be more precise) and watched recently a program about the Scottish National Trail that starts in the Borders area and goes all the way up to the Highlands.

I've been on the website and it stated that some parts of the trail are suitable for horse riders but it didn't state which parts. Does anyone here know if there is a trail you can ride from Edinburgh to the Borders or really from Edinburgh to anywhere?

I've seen lots of lovely videos of YouTube of people riding their horses for miles and miles in different countries but I'm never sure where we are allowed to ride in Scotland.

Thanks! :o

Hello :D I'm a borderer, but haven't heard of the national trail before, sounds interesting. There are plenty of circular routes in the borders (google buccleuch circular rides) and I think some of the St Cuthbert's way is horse friendly.

Kirk Yetholm to Edinburgh would be a great ride if possible!
