Scottish peeps help needed please!

I need the famous HHO help to help a lovely lady I know.
She recently found herself alone and has on top of that just lost her little dog.
So..... she asked me this morning if I know of any dogs for sale in scotland (she works in edinburgh at our edinburgh poffices hence i know her).
Criteria:
Any breed but only those no bigger than a cocker spaniel (she has a two bed house and is only small herself - anything else would flatten her!!)
Can be pedigree or mongrel
Any sex
Any age
Budget of £100- £150.

Anyone able to help at all in pointing me in the right direction?
Shes been to the local rescue places but all they offered her were staffies and staffie crosses. Lovely dogs but too much for her to handle.
Shes a lovely lovely lady and would worship any dog no matter what it is.
Any help appreciated

This lady is lovely and has had a pants 2010. Her mum has died so she's also wanting the dog to encourage her stepfather out of the house to go for walks with the dog (he went with the one they've lost).
I hope we can help her find something and give a dog a great home at the same time.
