Scottish Schools Equestrian Extravaganza - anything like this down South?

As in any opportunities for horseless riders to experience competitive environments and put what they've worked towards into practice? The idea with the Scottish thing is you can hire a horse and it's all very accessible. I am off to uni soon so no loan/share for me any more and am not at a riding school or anything so don't get to do home turf SJ/borrow a horse.

Don't know about anything down south, but I just want to point out that the scottish schools doesn't allow you to hire a pony, unless things have changed this year (am now out of school).

The uni comps up here though allow you to hire a horse and I think its the down south so even though you wont have a horse yourself there is still a chance you'll be able to compete when your at uni.
