I love riding pillion on our scrambler motorbike but after half an hour with a bony bottom it’s agony ?. Can’t fit a pad over the seat so I wondered if padded dressage nickers might work? Or any other suggestions? BDC377AE-7CE9-459F-9CA0-0018092AF706.jpeg

Cycling shorts. With inbuilt padding.

I feel your pain. I have a huge arse, but the bones are in just the wrong place for sitting pillion on a scrambler.

Although, what are you doing sitting pillion on this for more than half an hour? Where are you going? It can't be comfortable in many other ways. :)

Trouble is, they are designed to stand on the foot pegs for solo use, only occasionally sit on the seat usually when stopped or random occasions. They really are not pillion bikes.
I'd get a different bike, or look at changing the whole seat unit.

It's a bit like trying to ride a steeplechaser in a dressage saddle, it ain't going to work.

Ha! You know the joys of the pillion scrambler seat ?! We got it for riding round this Greek island where the majority of the roads are sort of ‘off road’, ie no tarmac just rubble... luckily it is only my butt bones that suffer, thanks, will check out the cycling shorts ?

It’s a two seater in the spec but a one seater for true off-roading, I’m pillion only on rough Greek roads not the hairy stuff. No chance of it (or even the seat) being changed I’ve just got to suck it up, grit my teeth and pad my bottom ?

Haven’t worked out how to do multi quotes so:
Farsideofthefield: more cake would only deposit itself in the wrong places not my bottom ?
Keith Beef: we borrowed a 650 Kawasaki with a comfy seat but had to give it back ☹️. Also an Indian -made Royal Enfield Bullet 500 which was comfy but unreliable ☹️
