Well if there are good ones about in the camp I wish they'd do something to help the police recover the stuff that has been stolen round here, when the police know who it is but can't do anything about it.
I think I side with Pennyturner on this one. Although I posted previously about this type of people not being allowed animals, I must just clarify that I was referring to the modern traveller with no thought for anything but his or her own ego.
When I was a kid we used to get travellers rocking up each year to pick fruit and potatoes at the farm next door. They were never anything but respectful and when one of the kids dared to nick a bike from a house nearby, the kid got a beating and the bike was returned the next day. They also cleared up behind them and left their junk and rubbish in a neat pile for the farmer to clear away. It was not left all over the fields as the modern traveller would do.
