hi

my lovely JRX of whom is sooo beautiful, has got really bad dandruff, i know to feed from the inside out but shes on the best puppy food money can buy is there anything else i give her for her skin??
 
My black greyhound used to have dreadful scurf... but I never knew why

Like you, I fed her the best food etc...

Fortunately she has just grown out of it, sorry that is no use to you

mmm do you think i could give her some kind of fish oil or would feeding fish itself help ( she would say yes it would, alot)!
 
feeding codliver oil is great for dry skin in dogs. there is also some very good (but very smelly!) stuff called Exmarid you could use as well, its a lotion you apply.

I used to feed my old brindle greyhound pilchards - she absolutely adored them even though to me they smelled vile

ahh many thanx, i think i may try pilchards, ( might it give her the runs)??? failing that the smelly cream for the skin,, would i get that from the vet??

Pilchards shouldnt give her the runs, or they never did with my greyhound

There are never that many in a tin TBH, I used to give her 4 or 5 at the most per meal?
