SDF Sport Horses in Chobham, Surrey

No idea - they have only opened recently - but not sure I can take anywhere seriously called Super Duper Farm:eek::p

Ha! I thought the name was too ridiculous to take them seriously. They are new because we looked at buying the land they now have. They are advertising everywhere locally but I haven't dealt with them.

Not dealt with them i'm afraid, but seen a couple of their horses out BSJA'ing in the last couple of months, looked quite nice.

The one to ask is Uwe Koenig,he sourced the horses and worked for them ,think he left, no phone number but you can try e- mail,uwek@ hotmail.co.uk:)

Hi everyone,

It's nice to hear positive feedback on the horses. We stumbled on this thread while checking where our website appears on google, so I thought I'd address a few of the things raised here. Uwe Koening did work at the farm and sourced most of the horses but, as Pflynn says, he has moved on after a year with us. Mark Fyfe has now joined us and is handling the training of our sports horses. The farm has a 90m by 40m school for this, as well as a newly renovated barn with 14 stables. Mark is also competing them locally. If you want more information on them then he is the man to talk to. His number is 07930 201 606.

On the name of the farm - that was chosen by my sister Kate. Kate has autism and related learning difficulties, but has always had a real affinity with horses and is a strong rider. The long term aim of the farm is to provide Kate and others like her with full time employment, and any profit the farm makes is reinvested in this. When we asked her what she thought the farm should be called (expecting something more bland and traditional) she said she thought it should be called Super Duper Farm and the name stuck.

If anyone wants more information on this you can look at our website:
superduperfarm.co.uk

...or our facebook pages:
facebook.com/sdfsportshorses
facebook.com/SuperDuperFarm

The email address to use is info@superduperfarm.co.uk. Hope that's helpful.

All the best,
Tom Halsey

Ditto this! Fair play and I also wish you luck! Coincidentally I've just watched a Louis Theroux documentary looking at helping autistic children and adults. You've just earned some serious respect and I hope it goes well.

Thanks a lot squiz. I missed the Louis Theroux documentary but have it recorded and am looking forward to watching it.
