I am taking my 2 horses by sea freight to the Caribbean later this year, and need to decide what bedding to use..there is no drainage in the stables allowed of urine and don't want my horses to arrive with soggy feet.. One person has suggested wood pellets and hunter shaving on top of that for keeping it pretty dry any other suggestions.. they will stand in their 12x10 stables for 10 days..

I would use wood pellets and shavings on top as well .
Or megazorb
Paper would be good too .
Make sure the horse is used to the bedding before hand I had one who was allergic to shavings .
Are you travelling with them ?

No unfortunately only a qualified groom can go with them.. but I have met him and spoken several times, he is very experienced with 30 yrs in transporting, Im not sure who's going to be more stressed me- or the horses.. I will try some of the pellets at home first during their quarantine. Yes, 10 days, one stop in Le Havre and then onto Martinique..then they'll almost be there.. Im also not sure about rugs or no rugs, until they reach the Azores it will be chilly I think..
