Has anyone tried sealing their stable mats themselves? If so, what did you use, and how successful has it been? I was wondering if that bathroom sealant stuff would work?

We had our stable mats professionally sealed when they were new but the company that did it sell the adhesives, etc... so you could do it yourself. https://www.quattrorubberandresin.co.uk/product-category/resin-coatings/

Bathroom sealant just isn't enough. I have used a variety of sealants - Gorilla grab adhesive has been the best, IMO. Stixall Extreme is pretty good too. We have a totally flat concrete floor, totally square, and I fitted the mats as tightly as I could, and then sealed all the edges. Its been down about 12 years now, I think. Once a year I empty the stables and inspect the joins. At first I resealed parts once a year, but now its rare that anything needs doing.
