I was wondering if anyone else has experience of Sealskinz gloves? I purchase a pair of waterproof ultra grip gloves about 6 weeks ago and they are already leaking!

Has anyone else had this problem?

My first pair leaked badly but the seller exchanged them, no quibble, but although my current pair are totally waterproof they actually make my hands feel really cold, like ice blocks!
 
I've had a pair of the pimple palm type and this is their third winter. Been brilliant. Wash them every couple of weeks but still going strong, although some of the pimples have worn down.
Have a pair that resemble ski gloves too - but find them too bulky so haven't used them at all.
 
I have the waterproof ultragrip gloves too. They've been in constant use (daily poo picking, riding and mucking out) for 6 months and still as good as new.
 
My sealskinz are great - lovely and warm and I've not noticed them leak - but if i am 100% honest I am unlikely to ride in really heavy rain!!!
 
I bought a brand new pair of ultra waterproof riding gloves last week but they are too small :-( however, I stupidly pulled the tags off (still have the tags just not attached!)

So......I have a pair of Medium gloves looking for a new home!
 
I've never had a problem with my pimple palm Sealskinz either. They're the warmest, driest riding gloves I've ever had. No more split chilblains!
 
If you've still got the tags I would say it is well worth a go at taking them back!! Shops are used to this happening all the time - when I worked in a shop we were forever returning stuff like this - might be worth a try!!

I love my sealskinz - they have change winter for me, and I wouldn't be without them now. I've never had a problem with mine leaking, so I'd take them back if I were you!

Can you tell I have no fear when it comes to returning stuff.....?!
 
Are you sure they are leaking? I used to think mine were letting water in but they weren't, it's just the feel of the cold water through the gloves making it feel like they are leaking. As somebody else said earlier - they do make your hands feel like blocks of ice sometimes, but I don't wear them with the liners. I can actually smash ice in the trough and pick all the clumps out with my sealskinz on and my hands still freeze but they are at least dry!
