Does anyone here use it? I've just bought some and going to try it tomorrow but wondered whether you had any experiences with it. It seems to smell quite strong of something and not sure my horse will like it.
Had to resort to this to cover a metal bit as he will not take any metal in his mouth (and his teeth have been rasped). It took me 2 months to get a Happy Mouth in without a fuss but I feel they are too thick for his mouth really.

Its latex - it does stink, but then so does a new rubber bit. I washed mine until it didn't taste in my mouth

By the way - in answer to your previous post, the thinnest synthetic bit is a nathe, all the other are metal coated, so going to be fat for strength, whereas nathe use a nylon core.
