Just emailed the local lowland rescue team to see if they'd like an extra volunteer and was half wondering if there might be a potential search dog on my sofa? Goodness knows he has the nose for it:rolleyes: If the lost people have dog biscuits or bits of rancid rabbit on them, we won't even need to do any training:D

I do lots of search and rescue with St Sweep and The Moo......:D:D:D

Usually searching for the little sh*ts when they are chasing hares/bunnies, have their heads stuck down bunny holes, swimming around in the brooks, climbing muck heaps......:rolleyes::rolleyes::D:D:D

Rescuing involves shoes, socks etc etc................................;):p:D:D:D

There will be piccies if we ever make it that far:D At the moment I haven't mentioned Henry, I'll go along and talk to them and see what they say;)

Ah keep us updated, Winson aka Stinky seems more suited to this in early signs than other spaniel careers I had in mind for him. If you hide and shout help he comes and finds you and tries to dig you out. Or barks don't know if this is just for his humans though?? He also seems keen on gardening crunching my plantpots and stealing my trowel!

We have the local ones over with us to train every so often, but they only use one dog as she is very specifically trained. As with training the track, most dogs tend to follow animal scents rather than human trails and you have to train them out of it, so I don't know if it might clash with his gundog training.

She is a wee collie and B was rather taken with her. But she tried to take his face off :o
