Search for a Shetland Pony

I am looking for a shetland pony for my daughter, she is only 2 and it will be her 1st pony. I am looking for something that is broken to ride and great with children. In the norfolk, lincolnshire, cambridge areas...anyone have any ideas? i have searched horsemart, adtrader etc but they all seem to be stallions or colts.

Have you considered other types of small pony as well? A lot of shetties (at least the ones I encounter) can be quite cheeky and not necessarily that quiet for a child to handle. Perhaps you could find a little welshie/exmoor etc?

They usually have a good selection of ponies. Maybe you could place a Wanted advert on there?

How about looking on horse hunter, freeads (they have quite a few advertised), could possibly try getting one from a charity or putting a wanted ad up?

preloved.com ? I help look after a shettie, and he puts up with ANYTHING thrown at him. some can be cheeky, hence the term ankle nippers .
