Anyone else going?? I am pooping myself. I was feeling really brave when i entered but no think i am well in over my head.
I hope i don't end up looking like an idiot!!

I'm doing the Riding Club Show Horse. Getting is a right tizz already about it!!

I only found out about it this week. Would have liked to have done it but maybe next year. Good luck. Im sure you will be fine.

You will enjoy it dont worry - I did it a few years ago and ended up 5th (which i was gobsmacked about!) It was great fun and the feedback I received from the Judge was very helpfull.

Enjoy!

Hi, I did that years ago, don't get in a state it really is just a showing class......
If it's of use, I also did the RC show horse and the most important things I found were to ensure your horse will trot quietly over trotting poles, (it's suprising how many act as if they have never seen them before) also to have your horse used to different people riding him, and ensure he gives a good ride. If that means a few sessions with any handy male friends on board between now and then, then go for it.
Manners really are the critical thing in that class, so it really is a nice class. good luck..

Cool - thanks for the advice. We do lots of rc trianing and we like grids so she is a good girl with poles. I think the only thing that may let her down is someone else riding her. My instructor does - every now and then. But TBH they will be very good riders so she should be fine. She just fell apart once once when a nervous friend of mine got on her!

I will keep you posted. And i will try to enjoy it!

My friends did this a few years back.
They did ever so well qualifying both horses.
Nerves huh? Bane of our lives!!
Try and chill out. You will be fine. As someone else said (sorry forgotten) it is JUST a Showing class. Try to think of it that way rather than a HOYS qualifier.
