Hi

Does anyone have a black suede saver? to fit a 17.5-18 inch albion dressage saddle? I really want one so it has that secure feeling the wintec isabelle gives you...looked on the net and they all seem to be 35 plus!!

please help!
 
pay for a HM one, they are well worth the money, I have one that is 10 years old. (and another one (in brown that I bought to replace it but I don't need to yet!))
 
Do they stop you slipping about on the saddle? and how do they look when on??

silly questions i know, my mum had a sheepskin one but i felt about 2ms off the horses back when i sat on that!! comfy though!
 
yes, you are well fixed!

(I have an isabell suede seat dressage saddle too but only had for last 6 months or so.)

its not quite as good as the saddle, they look fine and smart once on and fit diff saddle sizes as the straps are quite adjustable (they go under the saddle flap) Mine doesn't move when it is in place.

They can be a bit hard to start with but are soft when warmed up as it is memory foam. I cannot hack/school without it.

Only poss issue with them is that I feel happier showjumping without it these days, it does make the saddle slightly less deep, however I think you still have a good feel with the horse unlike a sheepskin. If I was your end of somerset you could borrow my spare to see what it felt like. my mum prefers without it but lots of people really like them.
 
I can send you a pic of it on the saddle after the weekend if you like. the black one has gotten a bit shiney now with wear.
 
that would be lovely please send pick! I just love my isabelle but its not wide enough for my mare now and i sort of feel a bit vulnerable as that saddle made me feel so secure...my new saddle is comfy but its leather and i want that isabelle feeling!!

poor isabelle...shes brand new and sat looking longingly at me every day...i should sell her really.....could really do with the money...!! sorry a bit silly when it comes to that saddle!!!
