Hi folks! When I say cool, I don't mean trendy! Want to buy one as had v painful surgery and can only just sit down!! Was going to get an HM one but memory foam can get very hot so wondered about these so-called 'breathable' gel ones. Anyone tried one? Which do you think would be most comfy?? Do they also warm up and are they as bulky as the HM ones?? Cheers for any response! I am determined to get back in the saddle before the snows come!!!!

Thanks Iara b! Mmmm! Still can't decide! Think I'll go to the tack shop and check them out! Decisions! Comfy or cool!??! Do those HM ones get really hot??

I wouldn't say my HM one is as warm as my sheepskin (which I really snuggle into in winter!), but then I am a cold blooded lizard so it takes a lot to make me warm!

:-) yes I have sheepskin one but after the surgery :-( I need something that will not heat up the nether regions too much if u get my drift!! It's a combination if needing comfort but not getting tooooo hot!!!!

Cheers! Just found out have to go hospital for results tomorrow :-( so no seat saver fun for me til saturday! Seems v comfy, can't wait to ride my two! Mind u, they seem VERY contented doing nothing- unlike me!!

I have the Horse Health gel out seat saver and I love it. The plastic bits tuck into the gullet and don't damage the leather at all

Go for sheepskin in places aus/ nz they use it a lot because keeps you cool in the heat and warm in the cold and it's nice and soft I love my ass saver.x

Update Rode out on my Avacallo gel out seat saver today for first time. Can highly recommend it found it much comfier than my Heather Moffett seat saver and a nuumed sheepskin one. Having had 3 lots of spinal surgery I do really need the benefots of a decent seat saver and thik I've found 'the one'.
