Has he been for sale for awhile? or just been put up again? ive seen him before i recognised him and his name. He is nice and the price is ok.

Im not sure actually, hes more than id like to spend but the lack of jumping puts me off a tad.

He's a far better bet than the mare. Teaching him to jump shouldn't be a prob - if he's hacked a lot he's prob used to popping over small things. And if the worst came to the worst and he can't jump for toffee you can sell him wheras if the mare never comes sound you are lumbered with her

He looks nice and that is a reasonable price for a Seccy D - I'd worry that it was a bit low to be honest, but that might be because he hasn't done much.

Have you enquired about his breeding?

The only thing I will say is I know 3 of the little devils for my sins, and they are full of bags of personality and cheekiness. All 3 are different but Section Ds are generally renowned as not a straightforward breed, so I'd be a little cautious and make sure he really is a nice kind hack that is suitable for your mum.

Having said that its generally also accepted that if you get a bond with one he will try his heart out for you.
