Sec D Bridle advice - looking to hear from people with Sabre Cordobas?

I think Ive finally decided to go with a Sabre Cordoba for my mare, however Im stuck when it comes to the noseband. We dont show, and she doesnt suit a flat hunter noseband imo. Im unsure which cavesson to go for in the cordoba range, the square or round, which are both 1 3/8 or the finesse which is 1inch.

this is her in her jeffres bridle, the noseband is only 6/8 inch

in her headcollar which has a noseband of 1 1/8

Definitely the wider noseband, the noseband on the Jeffries bridle looks lost on her.

IMO you need wider leather all round, 3/4" cheek pieces and minimum of 1 1/4" width noseband, probably 7/8" brow too, there's just not enough leather for her head (as I say, just my opinion )

thansk jnb, i agree with that - the cordoba is broader all round.

im not getting a plain flat cavesson, imo she doesnt suit them and we dont show.

I am buying her a Sabre Cordoba and wanted to hear from anyone who could advise between the round and square cavesson types, or the slightly narrower elegance option that they do? Thanks in advance....

You deffo need the wider option.

thank you! Can i ask why you prefer the round? Are they the same width, is one more chunky than the other? Dont suppose you have any pics?
