Sec D - what size rug is yours in?

Wow, it is so nice to hear of so many bigger Sections Ds!! Mine is 15.3 hh and he is quite unusual round where I live because of his height. He wears 6'6" rugs - Weatherbeeta's are the best for him because of the size of his chest and shoulders.

The variation in the breed is amazing, I also have a 2yo from the same stud as my 3yo, but different sire, think ill be lucky If he pushes 14.2hh, he's teeny, lol. X

Mine is 14.1hh and she's in a 6ft now, but could've really done with a 6'3 this year but didn't expect her to still be growing at 7! Amigo's are the best fit for her, but she has got a weatherbeeta that fits quite nicely too.

Out of interest, what height is your 2yo now? I (very inaccurately probably) measured my just turned 2 D-boy at 13.2ish and am wondering what he'll get to..think sire was about 15.2 and dam 14.2ish so somewhere between the two I guess..

15.1hh (and a bit!), 17.5" saddle and 6ft rug HOWEVER when he was 50kg heavier he fitted into 6'6" (mostly because of his chest).

He's very compact in the body though.

i'm not entirely sure, he's basically unhandled, chucked out in a field for another year or so, getting near enough just to touch him is a achievement let alone getting a stick or tape near him :o At a guess i'd say 13.1/13.2hh

14.3hh & 6 foot (give or take, depending on brand.) He has his Amigo's on tonight but personally I like the Shires fit on him :)

Had a 14.3hh true welsh he was 6'

Got a 15.3hh welsh x he's 6' ATM but is growing nicely so think he will finish at 16-16.1hh and 6'3". He's 3

Hi

Mines 15.1hh and takes a 6ft9 rug, he's a little underweight a the moment as well which isn't good for going into Winter! Currently trying to get some weight on him (he's showing a couple of ribs, poor grass year and took my eyes off him for 2 mins)

He's Nebo Black Magic, Derwen Black Magic, Parc Welsh Flyer lines.
