Second hand pricing for jackets

Hi all

I wondered if anyone could give me a pointer on pricing for some jackets I have to sell. I don't even know if there is a market for them. I have a green John Whitaker Gammon jacket (it's a man's jacket but I liked it) which I have never worn, and I have a Pikeur Diana with maroon velvet collar and gold piping which has been worn a few times but is in perfect condition. Suggestions on where to sell and pricing would be great - am trying to steer clear of eBay if at all possible!

Try Preloved - I sold my water tray on it. Took a little while but it didnt cost anything.

If you are a BD member or associate member (which is free, just have to sign up via their website) you can post a classified on the site FOC, with pics. Would think there would be interest in the Pikeur jacket in particular.

As for pricing our local shop that does secondhand works on the basis of half the new price less a bit for wear and tear. Tried and tested format as she has been in business for years.

The 'Tack under £500' section of the original online classifieds has always been free to place an advert in. I'm not quite sure whether that is going to continue with the new system or not. ALL ads are currently free on the beta site and we will be launching with a specially discounted prices across the board when we go live, but for a limited period only.
