I had a nightmare recently when Harry (my 4yo) changed shape. His Cliff Barnsby saddle just did not fit anymore and he went from a wide to a med fit almost overnight. I was short of cash (nothing new there) and tried in vain to buy a decent English leather saddle but everything i looked at was well over £200, (and I am talking saddles over 30 years old). I accumulated about 4 before I found one to fit. Consequently, I now have 4 English leather saddles (well old, but by god decent). What on earth do i do with them? I thought about e-bay but it is such a minefield. I was thinking of going into a second hand saddle business! Just wondered if there would be a market for it, I mean a modest mark up of around £30, quality always sells doesn't it? Any advice welcomed.
