I saw an ad for a Second Hand Tack sale in Rokers and then on equineadverts co uk . The sale is 31st Oct in a village hall (Pirbright) in Surrey.

Do many people go to these things? Will I be likely to sell some of my stuff? Is it better than standing outside at a car boot sale? (This one is indoors at least!)

I was going to put some bits on Ebay but its going to be a real hassle now with the postal strike and they arent high value things.

Is anyone going? Be good to say hi if you are. I am new to the area. Its from 10am - 1pm (9am for sellers).

Maybe see some of you there??

We have a tack sale about once every couple of months near where I live and its always well attended with buyers and sellers. Think it helps as its a regular fixture, some of the one off sales don't seem to attract the same amount of people.

I've had a table a couple of times and so long as you price realistically (cheaply!) you'll sell stuff.

If you are doing it to raise money and don't trust yourself not to come back with more than you started with my tip is to go on your own so you can't leave your table and be tempted!

Im gonna try and get there. Got Iridology being done on my mare at 9.45 and dont know how long it takes roughly. Quite a lot of people I know of are going so it might be a good chance to get rid of your bits x.
