I’m looking for a used 7.5 lorry to take my daughter and two horses out eventing this summer. We have a two horse trailer but due to a massive change in my circumstances I’ll need to take the dogs with me as well and dealing with dogs/tack/weather with everything in the car boot will be more stress than I’d like to deal with right now.
So I’m looking for a 7.5 with a minimum 1.5 payload, basic living (somewhere to sit down, make a cup of tea in between phases, be able to keep the dogs secure and some sleeping space for the odd stay away show). Priority is safety for horses/people/dogs. Not a massive budget but not tiny either. I’d prefer to go to a dealer with a good reputation and a few trucks for me to look at rather than schlepping up and down the country on a wild goose chase.. so any recommendations of who’s good and who to avoid please (bonus points if they’re within striking distance of the northeast).
