Hello All,
I have recently taken on an 11.2 pony as a companion for my Cob when my Section D goes out on loan (fingers crossed.. need to find a suitable home first but people keep on messing me about!!) this summer.
He is broken so am looking for a cheap and cheerful saddle so that my six year old can ride occasionally/maybe regularly depending on how keen he stays!!.. But am really struggling to find one wide enough (He is apparently a Sec A/Highland Cross!!)
Are there any websites that have lots of ads for pony saddles?? I am keeping an eye on Ebay but most are new synthetic or too big and I would prefer an older leather one as at the moment Nathan is really keen to take him to some shows but I am loathed to buy a new one until I am sure this is definitely going to happen!! I have tried local tack shops etc.. but still nothing. Most of the ones that are there are too nice for what we want right now. OH will have a fit if another £200+ Saddle becomes a tackroom ornament!!
