Friday's Nations Cup result was emulated by the team in the Promo League event in Lisbon this afternoon with Robert Bevis and Tim Stockdale both returning double clears and Will Funnell 2 4s. And in Rome John Whitaker and Peppermill were 2nd in the GP, with Nick and Peter also claiming good placings. However the Junior squad didn't fare so well in Reims, not qualifying for the 2nd round of their Nations Cup despite double clears from the Whitaker cousins George and Donald.

The lads, sadly, 3 of them, did really well in Rome last Friday, huge congrats to the Team to finish as you say second, to France.A pleasure to see the "old firm" at their best!
Also a win for John and top placings for the others over the weekend, the Rome site has little videos of many of the rounds.

Were the YR team competing in Reims as well?

No - I've no idea why not, normally both squads go.

Yes it seems strange they weren't there. One more question I wonder if you can answer - do you know if the Irish Juniors will compete at Hagen?

I think we'll have to wait a few more days before that information is available. At present the site for Hagen only has the schedule, as does the Irish Federation website.
