Just brought a friend of ours home bred reg sec c colt, gorgeous little chap and not at all bothered by what height his going to make as he will be for our children when his old enough to be ridden

Just got me wondering...if he is standing just shy of 12hh (and bum high) at 6 months old will he be likely to make sec d height?
He is his dam's first foal and mum and dad both stand 13.2hh
Looking back into his parentage there are a few 14.2hh stallions in there

Know all breeds grow and develop differently and the only welshie foal i have had before is a sec d x appy who was 12.2hh at 7 months old and now at 5 1/2 he is standing 14.3hh

As its a first foal and parents both 13.2 I doubt it. My C's do about 90% of their growing in the first two years and stand at 13.1 as two year olds, and about 12.3 ish as yearlings.
That said they are all different.
