Having moved yards recently I sold my tack locker, not thinking Id need it, and now typically need another
They are just so expensive so any ideas on what I could use instead, Id prefer something I can put a saddle rack in really. I realise nothing is 100% secure but just want a deterent that I can lock. Nothing too bulky as I have limited space. Im currently scouring the ads for a metal cabinet of some sort, so I put a saddle rack in it.
Thanks in advance

I've seen someone do a really good DIY job with a rectangular metal feed bin- they stood it up on one end, bolted in a couple of saddle racks, added a shelf and bolted the whole thing to the wall. The 'lid' was then the door, padlocked shut using a couple of hasps. Feed bins aren't cheap
But it looked professional and much less than a big tacklocker would cost. You could also use a metal coal bunker. In the past when leaving tack temporarily at an old yard I locked it in a tin trunk that was anchored to the floor.
