as the title.
have to buy a new leisure battery for the fencer,so a fair sum wrapped up in these two items.
how do you keep yours safe?

I'm ok as my fence runs across to the corner of my old byre (joy of horses at home) so I place the electric stuff inside the door with the leads coming out and lock it, but my friend, whose field's just up the road from her house has like a special metal box thing that locks, couldn't tell you what it was called, where from or how mch etc....

Could find out tomorrow and let you know?

yes, need ideas please.there`s got to be a better way than just hiding it in the long grass.

Yeah I've seen those boxes. I only have an electric shepherd, its a little one but we drilled holes in the bottom of the casing and attached it to the fence with a metal cable and some nuts. It's not completely thief proof but it would stop the opportunists out there.

I looked at those boxes and thought the same - knowing my luck they would nick the lot. I have got a little shrike energiser after having my lasy energiser & battey perloined. My OH welded me up a case with metal loop, I then chain and padlock it to a ring in one of my fence posts. If they want to take it they have to crop the chain or take the post up - it has lasted 2 years now! Isn't it sad that we have to think about these things at all?
