Sedalin Tablets

Does anyone know if you can get these from vets.

One of my horses needs sedalin for clipping and shoeing due to a previous traumatic experience (thats another story)

Ive been told that you can get sedalin tablets and these are just as good as the gel/paste but alot cheeper.

any advice greatly appreciated

The active ingredient in sedalin is called ACP. Sedalin is the gel that is lisenced for use in horses and theoretically your vet should only be prescribing you that. You can get ACP tablets which are cheaper but only 'naughty' vets prescribe those now.

Do you mean acp? that comes in tablet form, sedalin is a gel with acp as the active ingredient. acp is a pom so you can't get it without seeing the vet.

fab thanks, It must have been the ACP tablets that this person was on about.

Ill stick to the gel.
