Sedating vibes please for dentist

I have to have a filling in an hour. I am the worst patient ever. Used to have to be sedated, then moved on to sedative tabs and now since my dad died of cancer last year with no pain relief at all! i feel i'm being a wimp being worried about a filling! and am going without anything! Still would like some sedative vibes please as am getting really nervous

I've never managed to get over my fear of dentists, now have a lovely lady dentist but I still need sedation for even the most minor treatments and spend the day before in a right state. Well done you for managing to get to grips with your fear and coping with less dramatic measures. I find it's never as bad as I think it will be and always feel really silly for making such a fuss. Sure you'll be absolutely fine, good luck.

Thanks to you both I am back now and it was ok. I have to have 3 more though! and i have asked for something to take, can't face 3!!
