My mare is having to be sedated to keep her calm, she isn't great at eating sedalin so I have been injecting her im but I have a feeling she isn't going to like that soon, is the oral stuff as effective if they eat it??

Well................ Big Fuzzy had half a tube this morning as was going to turn out for an hour (1st time in over a month)

Did it work?

Nope, not a bit of it :(

That said, the paste works fine on some - I was supposed to be giving 3 or 4, but vet yesterday decided I ought to give half the tube instead due to Big Fuzzies recent 'playful-ness'

Then over the phone was told to 'shove the rest of the damned stuff in' - so I did :D still not a change...... (and Big Fuzzy loves anything in an oral syringe  :D

So, eventually BF was left with plenty of hay in the Tiny Fuzzies night paddock & left to get on with it....

off there in a min to see if still there.....

Honestly though - this is only the 2nd horse I've given Sedalin to where it has absolutely no effect, any others have been fine :)
