Has anyone else seen it? I looked for a link but couldnt find one... Cant help thinking it can only do good to also serve a reminder of how to treat horses on the road also, wish it also reminded cyclists to do the same

Disagree, big time. Massively patronising towards both cyclists and drivers and I can appreciate cyclists' main counterargument that frankly, they'd rather be seen as a person. Nice idea in theory but the delivery is failing. There's a reason comments have been disabled.

Fortunately, out of the cyclists who are offended, there are some who are pointing out that there are plenty of drivers who don't know (or sometimes care) how to pass a horse in the first place and that equestrians have it just as bad...

Eh, everything will offend someone. I thought it was quite sweet and funny, and I'll remember it - which was probably the point.

I was all prepared to see some borderline offensive ad, then, but agree with those who find it funny. I think it raises a serious point that some drivers forget about the space and cyclist needs, in case of obstruction that the driver can't see. Thumbs up from me.

do the cyclists complaining really think the ad refers to them as actual horses? The 'See Horse' part obviously relates to rider safety, in both cases ! I dont see why they can be getting uppity that they would rather be seen as a person - afterall, you pass horses wide and slow to protect the rider in the first case.. maybe they would have been happier if it said 'See Cyclist Think Horse Rider'

As someone else said, it sticks in your head either way, which is the point.

For me everyday people on a bike on the road do not bother me at all. It's the Lycra clad ones on their racing bikes that travel 25/30mph+ that I actually find more dangerous.
