I have a cob with seedy toe and there seems to be so many different treatments out there. Any advise would be appreciated.

I have no first hand experience, but a friend of mine's horse had it and she used Stockholm Tar and it cleared up. She was very dedicated though and as far as I know put it on every day without fail, before turning out....I just used to smell it! I love that smell!

Think I'm going to have to buy you a pot for christmas, so you can use it as insence at home!!! :D

OP as HH has said above, when my horse got seedy toe last winter I put stockholm tar into the hole and around the rest of his hoof every day before turning out and also every night when he came in. It cleared it really well and quite quickly, so I personally wouldnt use anything else. You have to be very dedicated to doing it though, and it can get quite messy if you dont wear gloves!!!

'White lightening' gel sorted out my lad's seedy toe. Again it had to be applied religiously and not cheap, but cured the issue in under 6mnths.
