Im hoping somebody out there may be able to help! Im looking for a professionally run competition yard to stable my young horse at, which must be near to the Surrey/Berks borders (Windsor, Ascot, Chobham region). Ideally a small, privately run professional yard - nothing too big and commercial - but must have excellent facilities, year-round turnout, onsite tuition and friendly/willing to cater for individual needs.

Many thanks!

Park View Equestrian- about 26 horses yard. on Blacknest gate- Rob Hulbert
Mazamboni- about 20-40 horses Carl Belson
Larkenshaw- in chobham about 10 horses - but not full livery- wont ride/no-on site teacher but nice big school
Billz Equestrian. quite a new yard but "Billz" has worked many years in riding school

Ian smeeth is in that area, very knowledgeable and horse care is primary, I don't have his number but he is on Facebook

Are you dressage or SJ? If the latter then Thundry Farm at Elstead has space. Has good reputation and facilities. Close to A3 and also easy access through to Berkshire area.

Charmeroo - I am mostly dressage focused (sorry, only just seen your reply), although Thundry does look lovely.

I've moved twice now (my poor horse) and I'm still not happy....just trying to ride it out. I just cant find anywhere half decent in the area which ticks all the boxes! and its simple things like wanting my horse to have adequate amounts of hay, fields that aren't bogs and a school which doesn't flood :(:(:( Pretty basic stuff when you are paying a small fortune on Full Livery fees.

If anyone has any other ideas, please do let me know.

Thanks.

Agree for what your looking for try Little Owl a beautiful yard focusing mainly on dressage they have a web site and fb page :-)

A friend of mine is at Little Owl and loves it, she is an AM dressage rider and they often do clinics etc.
