A whopping £588.
I have been with them for 5 years, the horse is home bred and no claims.
Time to look for another insurance deal methinks.

Any recommendations gratefully received.

Yeowch, that is alot! I must admit that we have stopped insuring ours, especially with the terms that are becoming more common place - along the lines of it a vet has seen a symptom or issue then 1) your 12 month clock starts and 2) after that the area is excluded. Add to that our vets now need you to pay up rather than waiting for the insurers to pay them - I guess because they were taking so long to pay out. We decided it just wasn't worth it. BHS gold sorts your 3rd party, and a savings account will cover our backs should they have health problems.

Yikes. Insurance seems to have gone through the roof. I'm currently paying £648 (two legs excluded) with Pet Plan. Its due for renewal, so might do what I do with the cob. Self insure. In the 8/9 yrs I've owned him I would never have claimed a penny had I insured him.
